Fire fighters responded to the corner of E. Ferry & Ellery for a reported fire in a 2 ½ story home as units approached smoke was showing, and they advised they would be stretching in. As the first due engine turned the corner they had a 2 ½ story with heavy fire thru out and a 1 story commercial building next to it on fire. It took fire fighters over an hour to bring the fire under control.
