Working house fire 70 Meriden Rd Rockaway Twp 10.20.08 : Around 5:30pm the Rockaway Twp Fire Department  received a report of a possible  house fire in the area of 60 Meriden Rd Fire Co's 1 and 3 were dispatched, At the same time NJ Forest Fire Service Tower (Greystone) Dispatched a Brush truck to the area of Green Pond Rd And Meriden Rd For a smoke condition rising  above the trees. Within a minute the Fire Tower alerted the  unit as to a working house fire  as well as the Rockaway Twp Dispatch. The fire tower could see a large plume of smoke now rising As Fire department units were inroute. While unite were responding they were advised of  possibly Two people trapped inside.  One resident was outside as the fire department arrived and confirmed there was a second party still inside the house. Fire fighter quickly rescued the second victim and was transported by Medi-vac to a local hospital. The other person was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.  The cause of the fire is under investigation

Local  Eatery  Tony’s  Restaurant  & Pub    Destroyed in Hardyston on  10.11.08 : Callers were reporting smoke from the building. Within two minutes the Fire Department was re-toned for the building being fully involved. Assistance was call for immediately Bringing Franklin, Jefferson Co 1, and west Milford Co 4 and later requesting Jefferson Co 2' Air Truck The fire was brought under control within 1 hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time by the Hardyston Police Dept & the Sussex County Fire Marshall's Office

Working house fire  5 Barberry Row, in Chester , on 7-29-2007 : Shortly before 3:30 A.M. The Chester Fire Department  was dispatched for a working fire at 5 barberry Row. Extensive Mutual Aid and a tanker task force was requested as soon as units went in service. Due to no hydrants in the area LDH lay and relay pumping would be required at this fire. It took fire fighters over two hours to bring the fire under control

Working House Fire  18 William Street, Mine Hill  on 12.23.08 : Firefighters from Mine HILL,New Jersey,responded to 18 William St. on a reported house  fire. As the  first arriving  units had  heavy smoke was showing from a 1 1/2 home. The house was vacantat  the time of the  fire. Mutual aid was requested bringinh units from   Wharton Fire Department to respond as well as a FAST Team from the near by town of Dover . The was brought under control in about 1 hour. The cause of the fire is under investigation

Hopatcong  house fire  413 Brooklyn Mountain Rd on 02.28.09 : The Hopatcong Fire Department responded to 413 Brooklyn Mountain Rd, Shortly 
before 10:00 p.m.  on 2/ 28. For a reported fire on the 2nd floor of a  2 
1/2  residential home. Engine 151 was first to arrive on scene. The Crew 
quickly  streched a line to the fire and  knocked the main body of  fire 
down. The fire was brought under control within minutes. The  Netcong Fire 
department's Fast team was requested to the scene. and being assisting at 
the scene by the The Hopatcong Ambulance Squad who also responded to the 
scene with their  Rehab anbulance

Working House fire  20  Hopatcong Ave  Mt Arlington on 04.16.09 : Just past Midnight  Mt Arlington Station 26  and EMS 83 were dispatched to 
20 Hopatcong Ave, for a reported chimney fire. Chief -1 arrived on scene 
within minutes  and reported  Heavy fire showing from a two story home. The 
chief  immediately  requested Picatinny Arsenal Fire Department for a FAST 
Team and response  from Jefferson Co# 2 and Roxbury Co# 2 to the scene. 
Mt Arlington quickly established a water supply and fed  their  Ladder 
Truck. Upon arrival of the units  they  did a exterior attack  until the 
heavy fire was knocked down. The residents of the home  were able to escape 
without being injured  Both Mt Arlington's and Jefferson's Ladders were used 
for venting the home, and for fire suppression. As well as  several hand 
lines that were in operation. An additional Fast team was requested from 
Roxbury Co# 1. The fire was brought under control in about two hours The Red 
Cross also responded to the scene for the displaced residents . The fire is 
under investigation at this time

** Just Added **Working fire  85 East Dewey Av Wharton on 05.21.09 : Just before 1:00am  Wharton Fire Department, in  Morris  County , New Jersey    Was dispatched to 85  East Dewey Ave. for a reported fire in a single  family home.  A  Police unit  was   the first to arrive and  report a working fire  smoke showing  . The Wharton  Fire Department quickly knocked down the  fire. and had in under control with in  minutes   The Picatinny  Fire Department  Fast  Team  was  dispatched to the  scene .There were no reported injuries

**Just Added **    Quick knock down for Sparta at 7 Rocky Ter . : The Sparta Fire Department was dispatched for a reported fire in a single family dwelling  at  7 Rocky Ter . Sparta Chief  1  arrived on scence  just moments aftter the first  arriving  police unit . The Police Unit reported smoke showing , Sparta Chief 1  called  for mutual aid to the  scene as soon as  he had arrived on scene . The Odgensburg Fire Dept was requested as a fast  team. The Andover Twp Fire Dept  was requested for their engine to the scene . Due to the  area where the fire was located  with no hydrants in the  area   Sparta's  2nd  due  engine had  to  hand lay a feeder line  to  the engine  at the front  of the  house . Withan aggressive interior attack, The fire was brought under control  within about 20 minutes . One  resident was transported to the area hospital with smoke  intalation

**Just Added **The Hardwick House Restaurant  a Warren County land mark destroyed by fire on 11.15.09 : A Local Land Mark The Hardwick House  Restaurant, was destroyed by fire. Just after 7:00pm The Blaistown Fire Department was dispatched for a possible fire at The Hardwick House at 47 Spring valley Road, in Hardwick Township . As the first fire department units arrived on scene they reported a working fire, and requested mutual aid immediatly and requested them  to set up draft sites. Tanker task forces from Warren & Sussex Counties were dispatched to the scene.  Long LDH lays were needed to supply the apparatus at the scene. Due to the  lack of hydrants in  the  area . It took firefighters over three hours to bring  the  blaze under control. Newton's Snozzle was speical called to the scene. The Blaistown Ambulance Corps opperated a rehab and and first aid station on scene there were no reported injuries at  the  scene ..
