Firefighters were dispatched around 4:00p.m. to Ardmore and West 7 Mile Rd, For a fire in a commercial building. Ladder 25 was first due reported smoke showing from a few block away. The first due engine hit the hydrant across the busy West 7 mile rd, and requested police to the scene for traffic control. The fire was in a vacant 2 story building. This very smokey fire was brought under control within 45 minutes.
