Box Alarm was transmitted just before East Grand Blvd and East Kirby for a dwelling fire, around 5:30a.m. First due Engine 23 reported they had heavy fire through out a vacant 2.5 story residence. Ladder 20 was put into opperation as well as numerious handlines.It took fire fighters over a hour to bring the fire under control
